Learn to Sew a Shirt – The Stylish, Confident Way
If you've ever fancied making a proper shirt (collar, cuffs, buttons and all!) but felt a bit nervous to start – this is the workshop for you.
Over two calm and focused days in our Cotswold studio, you’ll sew your own beautifully made shirt using one of our tried-and-tested Cloth Cutter patterns: Nova, Cesario, Frida or Eleanor. Each has its own personality, but they all have that magic balance of comfortable and classy – and they’re designed with real bodies in mind.
You’ll be guided through every step with expert tuition, whether you're a confident beginner ready for the next challenge, or someone looking to sharpen their shirt-making skills.
Choose Your Shirt Pattern:
-
Nova Shirt – classic with a twist in the sleeves
-
Cesario Shirt – a timeless classic with sharp lines and smart details
-
Eleanor Shirt – soft gathers, gentle shaping and a hint of romance
- Frida Shirt - relaxed, boxy, contemporary – great for everyday wear
What You’ll Learn:
-
How to sew a neat collar and stand
-
How to set in sleeves and add cuffs
-
Button plackets, hems and finishing techniques
-
Pressing and construction order for a clean, professional finish
