How can I purchase a gift voucher?

Our gift vouchers come in the form of a digital gift card and can be purchased online. They are a digital code to be used when making another purchase online. They are not a physical product.  But you can print out the gift card and put it into an actual greetings card to gift if you choose.

What value of gift vouchers do you offer?

Our gift cards come in £10, £25, £50 and £100 denominations. So you can create your own value. We would recommend purchasing multiple smaller amounts if you’re not sure what the recipient would like to use them for, as the value of the gift card needs to be redeemed in a single purchase. 

Can the voucher be posted out directly to the recipient?

Sadly we are unable to physically post the gift card as it is a digital product. The gift card will be emailed to the purchaser’s email address. Unless they check the tick box to have it sent directly to the recipient.

However, you can always print out the gift card and pop it into a greetings card to send to the recipient instead.

How can the gift voucher be redeemed by the recipient?

Our gift cards can either be redeemed by placing an order online, visiting us in store or by placing an order over the phone during our opening hours. Our gift cards can be used to purchase products like fabric, patterns and haberdashery or to use against the value of a workshop. Just enter the gift card code at the checkout. If the value of the items you wish to purchase is greater than the gift card an alternative method of payment will need to be selected to finalise the purchase or booking. 

How long are the gift vouchers valid for?

Gift cards are non-refundable and are strictly valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. We cannot extend this time period as it is fixed in our system.

Can a voucher be used multiple times for different purchases?

No change can be given for a gift card so make sure you enjoy it all in one purchase. If you are purchasing a voucher for a large amount, we suggest you break it down into smaller denominations to make it easier to spend over multiple transactions.

What happens if a gift voucher is lost?

We keep a secure online record of all gift cards that have been purchased and redeemed. So in the event of a gift card getting lost, we can re-issue the gift card with the same code without the need for any further payment or details to be taken.
