While we strive to showcase high-quality images, please keep in mind that colors may not always match exactly how they appear in real life. For color matching, we recommend contacting us for guidance.
All prices are listed in Pounds Sterling (GBP).
When you select items to purchase, they’ll be added to your shopping cart. You can easily remove or adjust quantities during the checkout process. We use Stripe and Paypal for secure online payments, ensuring that your information is protected. We’re PCI compliant and conduct regular security scans to keep everything safe.
If you prefer to make your purchase over the phone, please give us a call during our opening hours, and we’ll be happy to assist you. Just note that items in your online shopping cart cannot be transferred to a phone order; you’ll need to specify what you’d like to purchase.
Acceptance of Your Order
Please remember that completing the online checkout doesn’t mean we’ve accepted your order. Our acceptance happens only when we dispatch your products or begin the services you ordered. Until that point, there’s no contract between us.
We’ll send you an email as soon as we’ve received and are processing your order.
We aim to supply all goods at the stated prices. If we’re unable to fulfill your order, we’ll let you know via email and, if you’ve already paid, refund you as quickly as possible.
Request to Hold an Order
Due to limited space, we are unable to hold any online orders. If you need to change your shipping address, email us as soon as possible at hello@theclothcutter.co.uk.
If you would like to collect your order from our Studios in person this is an option at checkout. We will hold your order for 2 weeks from the date we receive your order. If the order has not been collected by then we will return the items to stock and refund you, unless the item is cut lengths of fabric. Please note there are no refunds available for cut fabric. Please check our Returns Policy for more information.
Purchasing Fabric
All fabric is measured and cut in metric, and we sell it by the half metre (50cm).
Pre-Washing Fabric
Pre-washing your fabric is a personal choice, but we recommend doing so on a warm, short, gentle cycle with a mild detergent, especially for bright or dark colors or fabrics with linen content. If you're using different types of fabric in one project, pre-washing is definitely a good idea.
For felt and fabrics containing wool, please follow the manufacturer's instructions. If no instructions are available (common with deadstock fabrics), we suggest testing a small piece before pre-washing. For woollen fabrics, we recommend dry cleaning only.
Please note that we cannot be held responsible for fabric shrinkage, so keep this in mind when measuring for your projects!
Buying Scissors
You must be 18 years or older to purchase rotary cutters or scissors. By agreeing to our terms and conditions when making your purchase, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
Promotional Codes and Offers
From time to time we send out special offers shared through our newsletter and social media. These codes apply to full-priced items only and are valid for the specified duration. They can’t be combined with other offers and aren’t applicable for gift vouchers or workshops unless stated otherwise.
If you have a gift voucher, it may be redeemed via an online order or an in person order in our Store. Please remember that no change can be given from a Gift Voucher.
